Okay, first things first welcome to the Bella & Beau blog! I've been wanting to do this for a while, and honestly? I'm a little giddy about it. So grab your coffee (or your wine, no judgment here), get comfy, and let me introduce myself properly.

So… How Did We Get Here?

It actually started with one of those random Tuesday evenings where everything just clicks. I came home from work, looked at my husband, and said, "I want to start my own business." Just like that. No big lead-up. No dramatic music. Just me, out of nowhere, announcing it like I was telling him what we were having for dinner.

I started brainstorming and it didn't take long before it hit me: event planning. I loved that it wasn't just one thing — it was everything. Planning, organizing, design, stationery, décor… I could dip my toes into all of it. And that night, I sat down, made a logo, started throwing around names, and by the time my head hit the pillow, Bella & Beau Events was born.

Sounds a little wild? Maybe. But honestly, it felt like the most natural thing I'd ever done.

9 Years of "Okay But How Did She Do That?"

Here's something you should know about me: I have been the person people look forward to for events for about nine years. Not because I follow a formula, but because I genuinely cannot help myself when it comes to making things memorable. Every event I've ever thrown, people would show up wondering what I was going to pull off next. That energy? It never gets old.

About three years ago, I found my true love in the event world: weddings. There is nothing quite like being trusted with the most important day of someone's life. The details, the emotion, the way everything comes together… I am absolutely in my element.

The Human Behind Bella & Beau

Because it can't just be about weddings all the time (even though I could talk about them forever), here's a little peek at the real me:

I'm a wife and a mama. My husband is my biggest hype man and my two-year-old daughter is already showing signs of being a tiny event critic. She has opinions about everything and honestly? Same, girl.

We have a pup. Obviously.

I'm a girl who has called a lot of beautiful places home I grew up in California, soaking up the SoCal beach life, then made my way through Wyoming and Idaho before landing here in the Pacific Northwest. Every place has a piece of my heart, so honestly? Beach, mountains, desert, PNW rain count me in for all of it.

The aesthetic? Cozy but elevated. Like a really beautiful tablespace next to a fireplace with a glass of wine. That's the vibe we're going for here, always.
